Outcomes
  • Course Outcomes – Cyber Security Architecture By the end of this course, participants will be able to: Design comprehensive enterprise Cyber Security Architectures aligned with business objectives and risk management principles. Develop professional High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for network, cloud, identity, endpoint, and data security domains. Architect Zero Trust environments incorporating segmentation, conditional access, and continuous verification models. Design secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) frameworks. Build Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR) architecture with proper telemetry flow and SIEM/SOAR integration. Develop cloud security architectures following shared responsibility models and secure workload deployment patterns. Implement defense-in-depth strategies across perimeter, internal, and hybrid environments. Conduct threat modeling and integrate risk-based control selection into architecture design. Map security controls to global standards and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001. Create implementation roadmaps, control matrices, and architecture documentation suitable for executive and technical audiences. Upon completion, learners will confidently perform the role of a Security Architect and lead enterprise-level security design initiatives.
Requirements
  • Course Requirements – Cyber Security Architecture Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs). Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles such as CIA triad, access control, and risk management. Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (Active Directory, cloud platforms, endpoints, servers). Prior experience in roles such as Network Engineer, Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or System Administrator is recommended but not mandatory. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and documentation. A laptop with internet access for labs, design exercises, and architecture simulations. Recommended (Not Mandatory): Exposure to SIEM, EDR, IAM, PAM, firewall, or cloud security solutions. Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST CSF. This course is structured to progressively move learners from foundational concepts to advanced enterprise-level security architecture design.
